It’s officially spring, and after a long and challenging past year we could probably all use an energy refresh right about now. So in today’s post, I have some mindful tips on how exactly you can refresh your energy this spring to start the warm months off really well!
Lots of people have been experiencing psychological burnout with everything that’s been going on in the world lately, so if you’ve been feeling a little down, you’re definitely not alone. The good news is that there are so many easy things you can do to elevate your mood and restore your energy, so keep reading to find out some of my favorite ways!

Start Taking A Daily Walk
This is something that I started doing last year when things got really crazy in the world, and it has really helped with alleviating mental burnout and just improving and elevating my mood each day.
Getting outside and taking in some vitamin D is so great for your energy levels for a number of different reasons. The sunlight helps regulate your circadian rhythm so that your body recognizes when it’s day time and when it’s time to go to sleep (I find that getting outside helps a ton with sleep issues). Also, just breathing in some fresh air and getting out to spend time in nature helps a ton!
Try to spend at least 15 minutes a day outside walking and enjoying the outdoors for an easy and mindful way to refresh your energy.
Incorporate More Plant Based Foods
I typically always mention this in my wellness and self care posts because it is genuinely SO important for your energy levels and physical well being. Eating more whole plant based and vegan foods like fruits and veggies means you’re getting tons of antioxidants and an increased water intake in your diet, which in turn means that you’ll feel amazing and you might even start to notice other benefits like clearer, healthier looking skin!
Lately, I’ve been getting meal delivery from Sakara a few days a week, and I’ve been absolutely loving it because they send out the most amazing and beautiful high quality fresh plant based meals that make life so easy for me since the work of deciding what to eat and then making it is taken away! You literally just take the food out of the packaging and it’s pretty much ready to eat – there’s no guesswork in having to make a recipe or prepare anything, it’s all done for you.
Rework/Redesign Your Space
This could be as simple as just rearranging your furniture to change things up a little, or completely remodeling your place, but whatever you’re able to do with the resources you have is great. Changing things around in your apartment or house just makes everything feel new and interesting again, which is a really easy and mindful way to refresh your energy this spring!

Love this post so much, friend! I want to work on getting in a daily walk. I always feel better even if I just step outside on the porch and get some fresh air.
I hope you have the best weekend!!

I love going for walks! We were having such nice weather here and now this week it’s calling for a combo of snow and rain again. Winterpeg problems.
I haven’t rearranged my furniture, but I did start painting for something relaxing and creative to do. The result was a tray for my coffee table, which I’m pretty obsessed with. Yay for new and exciting things/changes!

I think the ideas you shared are such great ones! Mindfulness can be so helpful in everyday life, so it’s awesome that more and more people are becoming acquainted with the idea. I love your suggestion of redecorating or redesigning your space as a mindfulness method – what a great way to incorporate creativity in mindfulness practices!

This is great advice! I am trying to eat more healthy after a challenging winter and you add buying some new makeup! I had not bought makeup in over a year and I bought a few things and it was a nice pick me up!
